James is Camp Manager at Maili Saba Camp. From 2000 - 2002, he was a cook at both the Sportsman Arms Hotel Nanyuki and an international casino in Nairobi. He then joined Hotel Kunste as the Head Chef. In 2006, he became a chef at the Ujima Foundation’s Maili Saba Camp. James was born in Nyeri town. He attended school at Burguret Primary School, followed by Nanyuki Boys High School for his secondary education, and later Mountain Top College for a diploma course in Hotels and Tourism.
